Sort by modified - default?

Is there somewhere you can make it sort save games by modified as default rather than by name?
I can't imagine who it was that thought sorting our savegames by name would be a good default setting. Everyone just loves having to hunt and peck to try and find your last save game!

Eh, um ... the last saved game is the last one on the list; i.e., the one at the bottom. Or maybe you keep all saved games for ever & ever? I just go into my Saves folder and delete all the saved games before I start the next game.

it really is dumb....even worse was not having modified as an option at all on release. Now at least it's just a couple clicks to resort.

So I feel your pain but unfortunately don't know the answer. If there is a way I would like to know as well.

See that makes no sense. Why would you put it at the bottom? In every other game, the last is always at the top.

Yeah, well ... You've got a point there, Judge. But maybe I'm the only Civ player who doesn't find this terribly annoying?

and its only at the bottom because you delete your saves. If people don't delete their saves, it could be anywhere in the list as the list defaults to alphabetically.
