Sound files problem

I have Civilization 3 and Civ3C installed but when I attempt to open up the Civ3C game I get the message "Sound header files used in the game do not match the ones used in sounds.dll. Check all sound.h and sound device.h versions" and the game does not open.

Any ideas?
