Sound question

I just downloaded Colonization in a few versions, the COLWIN and the old 'original' version. Colo was one of the first games I ever played on the computer, that was in 1995.

I want to play it again now but the background sound doesn't seem to be working. I read the colwin uses the soundtracks from the CD, which I obviously don't have and can't get anymore in the nl

Now I didnt want to play the windows version anyway, but in the DOS version it doesnt have any sound either. Is this because my soundcard or is it because the sound files haven't been included into the game?

Anyone know?

Well usually you can get the background sounds without the CD, but if you want the 5-star symphony orchestra then find the CD....
