soundtrack question

Just started playing this--great game!

I am playing as Griggori, and the soundtrack has a sort of haunting voice, chants, no words. Its very familiar, but I can't quite place it. Maybe from a game or a recent movie. Anyone know where I might have heard the soundtrack before?

The music files are right there in the mods directory, y'know? But the files I think you're refering to ('ECDemo' and 'ECTheHouse', unless I'm mistaken. You were playing Grigori, so that narrows it down to the non-religion soundtrack) don't seem to be attributed to anyone, unlike much of the others. Maybe someone else knows what 'EC' stands for?

Only took a couple minutes of Googling with the file name. It's from Eclipse, a Half-Life 2 Total Conversion made by a group of game school students. The composer's name is Rich Douglas.

EDIT: You may recognize the uillean pipe bits, which are fairly common. I think they might actually be sampled from the .hack soundtracks.
