Sovereignty from Rationalism-should I keep science buildins after end of research???

I have research all tech but the world is yet to be conquered.Sovereignty from Rationalism gives me +1 gold from science building.Is that means that science buildings dont need maintenance=provide gold and should I keep them or should I destroy them???
 
Should I keep or destroy science buildings after I research all techs with Sovereignty social policy???
 
1g from policy becomes 1.75g with all financial buildings, or 2g in capital with Commerce. If you are not stressed for gold, then why sell them?

If you are keeping track of score each future tech adds 10 victory points, so keep the science buildings.
 
One way to look at Sovereignty is a reduction in Maintenance Costs for Science buildings:

Library: -1g (Maintenance) + 1-1.75g (Sovereignty) = +0.00 to 0.75g Net income
University: -2g (Maintenance) + 1-1.75g (Sovereignty) = -1.00 to -0.25g Net income
Public School: -3g (Maintenance) + 1-1.75g (Sovereignty) = -2.00 to -1.25g Net income
Research Lab: -3g (Maintenance) + 1-1.75g (Sovereignty) = -2.00 to -1.25g Net income

Lets say you have a Civ with 6 cities and each has all the science buildings and all the commerce buildings. You would only save 12g/turn by selling all your science buildings. I say leave them to run up your score like Jaybe said.
 
+1 gold is actually better than -1 gold in maintenance, because the +1 gold can be further increased by modifiers, such as the Commerce opener.

Also, +1 gold (rather than -1 maintenance) is relevant in affecting the production choice of puppets (who are stuck with gold focus).
