I loaded your save file and it behaves exactly as my game

It doesen't seem to be OS related since i run Win2000.
and i had the same problem with the older pacth v1.21 as with v1.29f

I have started a new game as the Americans on Kal El's Earth map (CivWorld v1.3.bic)

Not exactly the best game i have started as i'm way behind in tech but still strong enough to not get wiped out!
I'm currently in year 800 AD so i'll get back to you when i have started my space program then we will see what happens...
But i have a hunch that my spaceship wont launch this time either

If any of you Civ gurus out there have any suggestions what to do or check before i get into the spaceprogram... Please let me know

Well, good to know it's not just me. Thanks for checking on it for me, guys!

I'll go and report this and see what happens. In the meantime, I have to take a short break from Civ. That game I had going was great fun...up until the spaceship wouldn't launch. Until a solution is found to the bug, I don't have the heart to dedicate 20 hours of my life to trying again.

I can second the bug. I'm on Windows 2000, Regent, and using 1.29. I've won space victory before, but like somebody else above, never on Regent so this is a big deal. ARGH! Well, now that we have established that there is indeed a problem, has anybody found any remedies?

I've won with the Spaceship victory. I tend to notice this problem when I'm just sandboxing. (no opponents, just barbarians) I guess you need rival civ's to win a spaceship victory.

No, I had more civilizations. I think at the time, there were four more (three had been eliminated).
