Specialist farms are addictive. But it's been hard pressed to break old habits of building courthouses and police stations.
That said in my current game which I have only domination/conquest checked off, I had to switch to communism by neccessity (WW kicked in on 2nd turn of my invasion ).
After switching and building secret police HQ, i am researching as fast as I was in Republic and the new size 12 conquests are productive! I'm not a warmonger by habit so this is really a new experience to me.
