Today I thought, that it would be nice to get a little bit more Science out of one City and assigned a scientist.
But hey, nothing happened.
After I took the worker out of the Land-Tile (Grassland) the Science-Output fell from 40 to 38. And there it stayed as I went through the Specialist-Options until I had the Scientist.
I even waited one turn to see, if the an increse would be taken into account the next turn, but again nothing.
The same is true for Tax-Collectors. No Increase in Income as far as I´ve seen.
I´ve tried this with several Cities (All had Imrpovements like Libraries, Universities, Banks and Merket Places) and have never seen any Effect taking place by assigning Scientists or Tax-Collectors.
Is this a bug in the Game or are there any invisible Effects of those Specialists? (As opposed to Civ 1 & 2 where the Changes by Tax-Collectors and Scientists could be seen at once in the City-Menu)
