That makes no sense given our country's history. None. It should be called football, as we are a former British colony... and besidezs, the rest of the world calls it football.
Who cares? The manager is calling it football, so get used to football.

Well australia and i think NZ call it that and we have about the same history as them so it does make some sense to call it soccer, and people wont get confused with other football games. However i don't really care.

Here's how we would do it: Each team gets x amount of money to buy up to ten stars in catagories like Pitching, Stamina, Speed, Base running, Power, Hitting, fielding, and Pick Off. Every time you increase a stat, it costs more to increase that stat again.
EX: I use $10 to improve Joe Calone's Fielding to 1 star. Now it would cost $20 to increase it by one star.
You get 9 fielders/hitters. You get a DH if you want, and you get 3 reserves, Injuries happen, but not often. You get 5 Pitchers, 3 relivers, and 1 Closer.
So, should I open the new thread?
