Start-up Error

Okay, I have done more to try and get this game to stop crashing than I care to remember.

Now I can't even get the game to start. Here's the latest error during Initialization:

Hmmm...well the sytem specs should be fairly easy, but remembering what I have tried, well, I'll give it a shot.

First let me tell you that, I got the game on Friday, and it played well for 2 days - I got all the way to Scientific Method and it crashed. It then started crashing like mad. When it was running, I couldn't get in a half-hour of play and BANG - hard crash and I have to re-boot 2 or 3 times to get system back up.

What I've tried:
Installed latest graphics driver.
Un-installed, re-installed game (even THIS process is crashing).
Unpacked the Art0 file.
Turned off auto-save.
Turned on all logging, I've looked in these files and have found nothing of use.
Turned down the video performance.

My system:
Intel P4 2.4Ghz
1G of RAM
Radeon 9200 with 8.18 driver
SoundMAX Digital audio integrated on an ASUS P4PE Motherboard (Intel 845PE chipset)

Did I miss anything? Let me know.......
