Steam related problem :(

After admitting my civ 4 disks are unplayable, i caved in and bought Civ 4 complete edition from steam.

I can't get a shortcut made to FFH, and i dont know if its actually installed in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization iv beyond the sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods

or

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization iv beyond the sword\Mods.

I will need to do an install of Fall from heaven 2, Orbis, Fall Further, RFC - but what foldier do i put them in and how do i create their shortcuts? im using windows 7.

Also, stupid steam downloaded all of them simultaniously and im not sure if it installed/patched them in the correct order. Can someone help me because every time i try to use steam for something i just get hopelessly lost.

Is it possible to run these mods directly through steam?

Start BTS, then on the Main Menu go to: Advanced -> Load a Mod

The game will have to restart, that's the disadvandage of this method, but it should work.

yes i remember the old way to do it, but there is no steam interface for civ 4, so i am unsure HOW to create icons that directly load the mod without first loading civ 4.
