So, something funny happened in a CivV game I was playing and I pressed F12 to take a screenshot. The game took the shot and then suddenly went to the loading screen (like it does sometimes in multiplayer). When the game had reloaded, a Citystate I had taken over reverted to being liberated, and two Greek cities I had destroyed were back from the dead!

Here's the evidence. Before:

Tyre, who was a world away, randomly introduced itself. So I took the shot. You can see on the minimap a large space where I cleared out some annoying cities and that the southern end of the continent all belongs to me.

After the reload:

The citystate is back!

And so are the Greek cities?

The game luckily had autosaved around that time period. When I reloaded and didn't take a screenshot, this adjustment never happened. When I did take a screenshot, it happens again. Anyone else ever have this happen to them?

Yeah... I once kinda panicked when I took a screenshot and all of a sudden I was Rome fighting a Medieval war against half the continent; it took me a while to realize that I accidentally quick-loaded my friend's quick-saved disastrous game.

Ha. I knew I wasn't crazy. (Well, maybe not, but still . . .)

Someone really brilliant decided to put Steams screenshot function on the same key like Civ5s quickload function.
That's the problem here.

Hmmm. I've never had this happen before when I take a screenshot. I guess I should always save before a screenshot in the future...
