Alright, so the person who installed my XP whenever my computer was made, decided it'd be cool to uninstall a bunch of XP stuff (Games, calculator, etc) and turns out he didn't get rid of the Sticky Keys beforehand so now I have a Sticky Keys problem which I can't fix (whenever I click OK or Settings, nothing happens).

Any other ideas on how to get rid of them? It's becoming annoying since I've began to play games again which involve the Shift key a lot.

Start > Run > regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\StickyKeys

Set Flags to 506

Exactly my issue, it isn't. It shows up in the Registry, but after what I was told to set the Flags to, the problem is still there.

Try to activate stickykeys and see if you can access the settings from there. Should be 5 presses of shift.

Also, I think setting the registry entry to 0 is what shuts it off, but do it at your own risk, I can't vouch for that and editing the registry can be hairy.

I've already tried that as well.

Not sure about changing it to 0, I will change it now. I can always change it back if necessary.

EDIT: Actually, after another restart of the computer, it doesn't activate anymore.... Seems like it took 2 re-boots.
