Stop printer software from nagging to align cartridges

I have an HP Deskjet F2100 series, which is pretty good. However, every time I reboot or log into my account, the software nags me to align the cartridges. Which I've done about 100 times to try to stop it from popping up, but it does. I've also searched through all the settings and didn't see anything. I'd rather not disable the startup thing as otherwise I'd have to restart the printer every time I want to print something (yeah, I have tried it and that's what happened). It's not really a huge deal but I've finally remembered to ask about it.

Uninstall it. All you need to print are the drivers, the software is generally superfluous.

Or get a laser printer, it doesn't take long for inkjet printers to cost more in both time and ink.

It's a scanner/copier/printer combo, and I use the software because it lets you adjust the scan resolution easily. I forgot to mention that.

I've seen laser printers and they're much too big.
