WTH????? Never seen anything like that before! Must have been a bug.....or perhaps you changed Egypt's color in the editor.....

civs have a secondary colour. Some civ's have the same primary colour eg Rome and Babylon, so when both teams are in the game, one has to use their secondary colour. That's it :)

(EDIT):
 didn't see who I was talking to, sorry :)
so this is really unusual? How many civs did you have? It might just have been like a third colour or something  are you using a mod version with more civs? I dunno.

What is actually funny is that you are amazed at Egypt being pink, but it looks like aztecs are german blue...
Or are you playing with the germans and you took Tenochtitlan ?

Maybe, if he switched his capital city to Tenochtitlan.;)

Grey Fox: Yeah, this has happened to me every game since I downloaded one of your Demogame saves. I'm thinking of suing for the emotional stress caused everytime the aztecs and zulus creep up on me pretending to be someone less violent! :p

I also notice a green warrior on the screen, probably the one who made contact with the egyptian ? That means the human players is the aztec, and is green allright. But it means that NOT ONLY did the evil germans take that poor player's capital, BUT they also made it their own capital, wich does not make a lot of sens because it's a size one city... Very confusing, isn't it ?

I think it happened to me once... can't remember when though - I restarted since I started in the middle of a waterless desert. Strange thing is it didn't happen again. I think it has to do with two Civs of the same colour in the game, but I'm not sure.

NO I'm japanese... and Green. So my intentions are clear.

And I was amazed by the Blueness of the Aztecs :)

Well since you're japanese, then of course the aztecs must be another color, i.e. blue, wich means either :
1. you won't meet the germans later on
2. you won't know it's the germans until it's too late :)

You're still with us, warlord Matt ?

ya sorry bout that

Actually, the Aztecs and Japs are both green, and if they are both in a game the Japs would actually be forced to use their unique color.

Nor does mine, yet it's been doing this ever since I loaded that save. I've been trying to work out why ever since, but to no avail :(

Anyone have any idea how fast this thread is moving? Hell, it went from zero to 14 posts in less than 10 minutes!!!

1.) The Aztecs should have been green, and I should have been Dark Red.
2)I have contact with everyone already, and nope no Germans ;)

Yep, this thread really took off...

I got color confused yesterday myself so I decided to go into the editor and change everyone's colors so that they each have something different. Now, I've never had a game where two civs share the same color. Actually now, some civs look better with the colors I've given them :)

Errr... why should YOU change colors and not the aztecs ?
Because Green is both Aztecs Default and Secondary color. Green is Japans Default color, BUT Dark Red is their secondary color.
