Hello, all.
I am having a few issues with a multiplayer (direct IP connection) game that I have going on with a friend right now. It may be important to note that I'm on a PC (windows 7) and he's using a Mac. We both have the same version installed (1.74 patch on vanilla Civ 4). I'm using the steam version as well, if that matters.
The issues are... odd. First, it seems the diplomacy screen doesn't work. I click on an AI to enter diplomacy but nothing happens. I can't access it through the foreign adviser either. I also haven't once been contacted by any AI on their initiative. Currently my friend hasn't met any other civs, so he can't verify this problem on his end.
Second, I built the oracle, but it didn't give me the free technology. Essentially nothing happened, though I plainly see the oracle in my city. It's just sitting there generating culture.
Third, I can't seem to disband units. I press the button, but nothing happens. Delete doesn't work either.
That's about it that I can recall. Everything else seems to be working smoothly. Has anyone encountered a thing like this before? Any suggestions?
