Strategy Help

I hope Thunderbrd is realizing how much his new Trait set is still "bugged". I think he does.
Joseph, I don't know if you checked the savefile that I uploaded some weeks ago.
But it in you can clearly see another potential exploit of Thunderbrd's Complex Traits option.
My set of traits allows me to pay a negative city maintenance, which basically means that I get paid lots of gold per turn every time I found a new city, and the more cities I have and the further away they are with regards to my capital city, the more that I get paid, which has an interesting effect on strategy, as it is rewarding me for placing my palace in a far-away place, something kinda counter-intuitive with regards to the mainstream game strategy.

It's not that gamechanging, if I remember it was only like 15%-20% of my income, because I didn't bother to try to min-max it and test its limits, as gold is not an issue in late game and most of the time I don't find funny or "fair" trying to exploit unbalanced game mechanics like this one, but it can be possibly exploited and it can radically change the mainstream strategy with regards to your capital.
@Thunderbrd I assume this is an intended feature, is it?

Not really - it should minimum out at 0% at most. Going into the negative doesn't seem right really.

i think civics are influential esp on cities happiness due to war weariness. late game gold is an issue if you have a nuclear war causing the war weariness to make most cities go into revolt

-- game paused as it crashes---
i hope it can be fixed else it will be a sad end to a great game
You're on a version prior to the last save breaking version, so your save can't be loaded on latest assets.
We probably won't provide any support as this crash may already be fixed on latest SVN for all we know; a lot of crashes have been fixed since the version you're on.

ok.... starting new game after updating . lets hope
Please, explain How you update your play files from the SVN files, please.
