anyone else tried/bought this game? i have the demo and its just plane cool, i've always wanted a not to complex yet not to actiony seige game and this game is just it plus you get to shoot dead cows over enemies walls to posion there people! who wouldent like that i also like hwo walls are more then jsut barriers there also places for our men to fire from and give cover from enemy fire.

I got Stronghold: Deluxe and it held my attention for but a few weeks before I returned to Civ.

It was fun, but the main campaign was a bit immature IMO, probably targetted at the roleplaying teenage crowd.

There's some great sites with recreations of real castles to play wth that are v.cool, I was going to submit one myself but never got around to it.

He was talking not about Stronghold but about Crusader. It's not the same. Like Might & Magic and Heroes of M&M.
