stuck on warlord

I have successfully beat civ 3 (no expanions) a few times on warlord, but i can't beat it on regent. Every time I try to play on regent i get way behind in techs and military. If anyone has any useful tips for me that would be great.


Also i haven't been able to figure out how to take screenshots so if u could tell me how i would appreciate it alot.

To take screenshots hit Print Scrn then hit the Windows key (or wait until you're done playing) and paste to some sort of picture program (I just use Paint)

Unfortunatly I can't offer any help for beating regeant, as I too am stuck there... I can never manage to keep up in techs and usually just get conquered early in the game

what many have done is take the time to figure out how to upload games onto this site. then post the saved game (for example one of your typical regent games) and ask us to analyze it. its one thing to read post after post discussing strategy but having your very own game discussed can be especially enlightening. if you post both the .sav file AND a screenshot you will maximize your responses.
