Subways...

I would like to have subways added to this game. Basically, it works exactly the same as railroads, but has the option of going under water (within a certain tile limit...limit for fresh water is 21, so something like that) and your opponent cannot see nor interrcept them. There would be subway tunnel EXITS where the units come out of so the advantage at times could be incredibly high, and other times worthless.

This would take away that annoying feeling of having a computer sitting on your land tiles and making you use more turns than needed to get from point A to point B. Not sure of how you could make it so you kill units when they are in the subway, though. Maybe, have it so if you kill the EXITS they will be trapped and die if they don't come out in time.
 
Like under the Manche between France and England. Sound good put in real life there is just one like this in the world. Could be a Small Wonder and 2 city with a maximun of X tiles must build before it can be use.

An other thing about mouvement point. Could some sort of "travel route" might be build on water so mouvement could be faster. It take 1 or 2 month (by memory I might be not right, correct me please) to Colombus to travel, 150 year later it was there was regular trade between the Europe and America that take only 3 weeks.
