Hi all,

I've only just discovered the Succession game (started by one player who goes for around 15-20 turns, then the game is passed on to the next one, etc.), and I was rather hoping to try it. Would any casual players be interested in starting one up?

Best regards to all,

Robert Marks, hoping he's got his profile configured properly now...

Certainly.

sure why not?? :goodjob:

Count me in!

Hi, I realize this is my first post on this forum, some of you may recognise me as a long time poster on Apolyton, where I have played a few succession games and enjoy the style.

Maybe this is getting crowded, but I'm also interested. I don't know how many you are supposed to be.

Six would be perfect. I guess you should all email me so that we can decide on our Civ and difficulty level...

My email address is Delric@iStar.ca.

Best regards to all,

Robert Marks

looks like theres six here. about difficulty, i wouldn't mind deity, since it is split.

Hey you guys, come on over to the "Stories and Tales" thread... that's where the succession games are located! ;) I'll bet you can get a Moderator to move your thread over there, if you ask, too!

LOL... hey Odin, just notice your "Jack the CD Ripper" hehe... I use CDRWin and CD Copy, among others  :)

Good to see some more succession gamers.

As Starlifter says, there have been several succession games done in the Stories & Tales forum, and you can check them out if you haven't played before. They can give a feel on how to make them fun. It's not only about doing a timeline, but it can be fun to embellish you accomplishments and tie it all into a theme at times.

Also, if it gets too crowded (usually 6 is a good number), we can always use some players in a game that's going on now. We are playing 3 teams who are all using the same map (or at least NEARLY the same :)). With some team members fading away, we could always use some people to jump on in.

Also, make sure that everyone on your team has the same version of Civ II. Civ II Classic and Civ II MGE won't be able to mix on the same team.

Good luck and have fun!
