Hi,

This is my first post and I was looking to join a SG PTW 1.27 if at all possible. I have won enough games against the AI on Regent and about 50/50 on Emperor. I get pulverised on Deity. I can play fairly regularly. So if anyone has any openings or they are willing to start one up it would be appreciated.

I've checked most of the threads but note that most of them are C3C which I unfortuneately don't have. But I have been watching quite a few of the SG games just to get the feel how they run. I've even tried doing turn logs and they have greatly increased my success rate. Mainly because I've had to account for my decisions and it's also curbed my nasty habit of reloading an unfavourable result because of the RNG.

Perhaps we should start one then Renata and hope an experienced SGer comes to our aid. I just don't feel confident enough to do a first turn log without some practice first.

We could call it Girls' Night, seeing as we're both female and so few of the other SG forum denizens are. And we could use all the female-headed civs. Might have trouble getting a full roster, though ....

In all seriousness -- I would definitely like to play an SG, but I can't commit to actually running one; my schedule's too weird. If you would like to start one, though, go right ahead. I've played in I think three before, at Monarch, Deity and Emperor levels -- so difficulty's not much of an issue, within reason.

Bede03 is a straightforward Civ3 1.29 Diety attempt as the Russians. The only variant rule is the requirement to adhere to the Realms Beyond Civilization Honorable Tactics.
