Suggest a good mod for a newbie to mods!
I've tried the Double Your Pleasure mod, but in the end I didn't like it. Though all the added features were nice, there were a lot of bugs. For instance, when I built a granary, it would show up when "viewing" the city as the "Great Wall of China", though when I hovered the mouse on it, it said "Granary". Besides this, I've found progression too slow. In normal Civ 3, I can reach gunpowder pretty early, but with this, I was at 1750 or so, and still without it! My highest unit was a pikeman, and I was the most advanced in the world!
I'd also appreciate it if the suggestions were limited to mods requiring only vanilla Civ 3.
