Hello fellow linux users.
Want an SVN installer to build the latest version of Rise of Mankind - A New Dawn.
RabbitVCS is the Linux version of SVN installer, or one of them.
Download this installer, install it and download the latest SVN of A New Dawn.
How do I do this ?
1) Click on the URL above, download rabbitVCS
2) Install the file on your computer, (how or where is your choice)
3) Navigate to the installation folder, double click on RabbitVCS and run in terminal.
4) Paste in the link to the SVN's - "https://anewdawn.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/anewdawn/Trunk" (Right click and copy, don't click on link) import the file link.
5) This just links the SVN, Now you need to export it, or download it to your directory of choice
6) (Gap because I can't work it) build the installer if you want, I kept getting a compression error?? it would build the formations part of the install, and one or two others then fail due to compression error.
I just followed the advice of Antoca and copied the entire 2.4 Gig to the mods folder. You have to navigate to the folder with the CvAltRoot.py file and various folders, that is EXACTLY the same as your mod installation. Not the default top folder, its a couple down in A New Dawn.
Now mod should run as any other mod you've installed.
P.S. Do we need to download the entire SVN AGAIN to get updates? or am I doing it wrong???
