I have for you a Civ1 scenario from another, TRPG game: Talislanta.
It's the result of dozens of hours of research, several times changed map after finding more accurate maps of the world, and the inspiration was a post on Reddit where someone wanted to create and play such a scenario.
I dont share this post here because it contains a Talislanta world map (although as it turned out later, it's of poor quality) so if you dont know Talislanta map and you simply want to game play some interesting scenario it would be too big of a spoiler for you.
If you know the game Talislanta, you know what the map looks like - I tried to repropduce her quite faithfully based on a few maps, although for greater playability there are some changes in it that may surprise you.
The scenario (as usual) includes 7 Talislanta Civ races + barbarians.
Spoiler describing the map a little bit:
If you don't know the game Talislanta and just want to play an interesting map, this is one of the scenarios "Pangea map" and "Navel of the world" so there is one continent and you start in the middle of the map where enemies are around you.
For a breather your enemy is in some greater distance, so in the first turns you don't have to tense up and be afraid of a little exploration of the map. Maybe you even should because you don't have easy to play areas at your disposal.
There are actually three scenarios. The next 2 maps will of course be slightly different (also in terms of the terrain on the map), so I will give you time to play this map and after some time I will post the remaining 2 scenarios.
Today I present the one I have already played/tested and I think the easiest one. With the most playable world map. On the beggining any nation have one, capital city. Difficulty: 3 (King)
