Tank versus spearman, the ongoing struggle

You just remember the times when things did not go as you expected.

There are peaks and valleys in the RNG where you have a winning streak or a loosing streak. If you have enough units it will all average out. The streaks are enough to stop a stack in their tracks, or reduce a metro to ashes.

Its not the spearmen who are my source of consternation, it's the deadly charge of Cavalry against my Tank divisions - tanks blown sky high by successive waves of charging guys on horseback!

I've lost a tank to spearmen on a few occaisions (guess I'm just not lucky). Ususally in cities. I lose cav like this all the time...

Impis are good. Very, very good.
Attacking spearman on mountain will be disateruss.
Pikeman and spearman is deadly as last defender.
When attacking single unit with a wave of units is a disaster area.
