Archos Spider Breeding

The Archos are brutal savages that seem to have nothing on their minds but war and death. Yet, somehow, they are masters of genetics. They have become sort of a colony with giant spiders. These spiders learn different attributes, skills, and then they mate with the main spider named "Mother." The next crop of offspring become stronger than before and sometimes are even adapted to different jobs within the colony. Some have webbed feet to walk across water, others move at lightning speed to capture prey, some set up ambushes for invades, and some are just bred to be defenders. Very rarely does another Mother be born, but when it does, it is transported to a new area to spread the Archos. Therefore, the Archos in one valley could be vastly different from the Archos in another valley, which I find truly fascinating

Is it true Tarkar. That the land of the Illians is the only safe place from the Demons that invade Erebus?

Illian Lands

It has been found that the most likely place to survive an Infernal invasion would be the Illian lands. For reasons unknown, the corruption that spreads with the Infernals can't grow in the areas where it is cold, making them safe havens. However, even though the corruption cannot spread to Illian lands, the demons can still tread over the snow and are still an incredible danger. So if you do decide to go to the Illian lands, remember to bring weapons, because the snow alone won't save you.

Tarkar what do you know of the many Goblin clans. Who should we fear? Who should we laugh at?

Goblin Clans

The Goblins have many known groups, often called "Clans." These Clans work as families or a colony, relying on each other for survival. Of all the Clans in Erebus, I am most familiar with six. The first two Clans are of the desert. The Scorpion Clan and the Beast Clan, both on opposite sides of a large desert with the Malakim square in the middle. They fight constantly, killing each other, Malakim, anything. The Metalthief Clan, close allies of Deremei Diranth, tend to try to be peaceful traders, along with their Bloodsail cousins. While the Metalthief finds their merchandise from fighting and killing Orcs, the Bloodsail sells wares such as fish, clams, and the most luxurious of pearls. If you ever run into a Metalthief or Bloodsail Goblin, there would be little to fear unless you intended to cause it harm. The last two are very interesting. They are the Tiger Clan and the Umbra Clan Priesthood. The Tiger set up camp outside the Umbra Woods, the home of the Umbra Clan. When these two Clans met, an instant war broke out. Behind this war was a familiar enemy, the Infernals. When both discovered this, the war ended and they declared war on the Infernals. This is where they split. The Tiger Clan ravaged through Infernal lands, raiding trade routes and causing as much mayhem as possible. The Umbra did the same, until the Infernals offered a deal. Soon, the two Clans were at war again, but this time with the Infernals backing the Umbra. The Tiger Clan has since gone into hiding and the Infernals continue to ravage Erebus.

Aside from these six, there could be dozens, possibly even hundreds, of Goblin Clans. Each has a special skill they all hone and it tends to become the name of their Clan. For example, the Silenkill Clan relies on stealth to kill and are excellent assassins while the Bloodskull Clan would rush into battle with reckless abandon to feel the blood of their enemies flow. The Clans often wear a symbol to denote which Clan they come from, so if you run into a Goblin, check their symbol.

Dear Tarkar Merek, what could you tell us of the city of Kwythellar?

O' great sage, what can you tell me about this mysterious disease called AIDS?

AIDS

The symptoms of AIDS are primarily the result of conditions that do not normally develop in individuals with healthy immune systems. Most of these conditions are infections caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that are normally controlled by the elements of the immune system that HIV damages.Opportunistic infections are common in people with AIDS. These infections affect nearly every organ system.

People with AIDS also have an increased risk of developing various cancers such as Kaposi's sarcoma, cervical cancer and cancers of the immune system known as lymphomas. Additionally, people with AIDS often have systemic symptoms of infection like fevers, sweats (particularly at night), swollen glands, chills, weakness, and weight loss. The specific opportunistic infections that AIDS patients develop depend in part on the prevalence of these infections in the geographic area in which the patient lives.

Oh, Tarkar Merek, what is your opinion of the Gyre Carlin, creature of Tali?

Edit: I voted this thread four stars, it would have been five if longer.

Thank you o' great sage! Your answer was indeed a informative one, if a bit too much filled with complex words.
But there is yet another questation that has kept me wondering for last two decades. My parents passed away when I was young and since then I've lived alone in the wilds with wolves.
You seem like a trustworthy sage, so Im going to ask a questation that I've never dared to ask from anyone else:
Where do babies come from?

Sincerely,
Charadon

@Aryan: If 1998 is your year of birth, you should perhaps spend a few more years in the wilderness of unknowing before you ask that question again :p

@topic: To the great sage Merek, pray tell us, what do you think of the enigmatic Nightwatch?

Note: This is a non-canon creature. Unless you have an annoying loyalty to the canon lore, proceed no further as I don't want be the cause of someone's head exploding.

The Shrieks

Along my travels I have come across a most fascinating creature. It is a quadrepedal animal that seems to be coated almost entirely in chitin, as if it were a large bug. On its back are spines that seem to curve or just plain grow straight towards the tail, a possible left-over of a previous version of these creatures whose function was lost when they evolved.
The tail is about one to two feet long and exhibits smaller spines with three large spikes at the very end. The middle spike points straight while the left and right spikes curve slightly outward, as if to catch any prey that may get impaled. The tail has proven to be strong, equivilant to the punch from a Doviello Berserker.
The only place without chitin is the underbelly which is covered entirely in a leather-like skin that, while difficult to get through, does not provide as much protection as the chitin. The underbelly can also have hair growing from it, though it is rare. The head is shaped like a canine, but with chitin covering it, moving the eyes upwards and together, giving it the kind of sight humans have.
When in danger, attacking, or calling others to the vicinity, it will emit a piercing shriek, from which it derives its name. Any other Shrieks in the vicinity will be drawn to the shrieks of their bretheren very quickly, giving you little time to escape if they start.
When Shrieks have grown to a certain age (it is assumed), they will begin to molt and become a creature that is both quad- and bipedal. The chitin stays, but the arms have grown longer with the claws slowly extending. This variant is extremely volatile as it may consider you a friend one second and an enemy the next, merely by how it feels.
However, the granddaddy, or should I say mommy, is the Shriekette. This creature is 4 times larger than a normal shriek and spends much of her time in caves, laying eggs for Shrieks to hatch from and telepathically speaking with the swarm as they attack everything nearby.

The Nightwatch

The Nightwatch are an eclectic bunch of warriors. They insist they're not warriors, but what are you if you play a part in a war, but a warrior? I have had tow run ins with the Nightwatch. Once to help secure a relic, the other running for my life as they tried to hunt me down. It's an experience I doubt I'll ever forget as long as I live.
They are open to the highest bidder, so much so that if they're in the middle of a contract and offered a higher amount of gold, more than one would pause at the thought. Those that do finish their contract are quick and efficient. Many specialize in different ways of murder. Some prefer the old fashioned way, a blade of steel straight through the heart.
However, some others have come up with more creative ways to kill their targets. These included having a mark step into a noose on the ground, which then propelled him upside down in the tree. The most disturbing story I've been able to read is that one Nightwatch camped nearby and watched his quarry die of starvation.
While the origins of the Nightwatch are obscure and hard to research, so not much is known of their beginnings. Many rituals were lost, making the Cult less of a religious organization, but into a sort of black market company. And so far, business has been good for the Nightwatch.
