Here's a question:

Will you build a mass force of the non upgradeable swordsmen or mass horsemen that will eventually upgrade to our most needed samurai?

Ideally, mass produce horsemen, but for that we need a road next to Epolenep, horsecity, and roads up north.

Of course, I'd go for Horsemen which upgrade to the all powerful Samurai, and inevitablely crush our foes.

Are you capable of developing a thorough program platform with your visions, solutions to problems, work methodology, way to submit instructions and in general how is your way of leading and respecting the WOTP at the same time? Plus, do you rely on informal voting blocks, previous DG background, or can you rely on technical writing/polling skills and sound strategy solutions for Japanatica alone?


All leaders must respect the word of the people one way or another, but how they choose to is up to them. I favor more DG backround, and discussion rather then loads of polls on every little tidbit. I would more rely on technical writing/polling skills and a sound strategy than anything else for the good of Japanatica.


Which doctrine are you pursuing:

Take out the Babylonians since they are our traditional nemesis
Take out the Iroquois Southeast
Take out the Zulus North
Take out the Romans East
strike at the French in the far North

What do you think is realistic to achieve next term, and please sequence these by how many turns ahead you can visualize you can confront them and with what forces?

For next term, it will have to be a mostly pacifist term, being that we lack our capable Samurai. But if we had the had to stage a fight against a nation right now, I am divided between the Zulu and the Romans. I lean towards the Zulu more because they don't have a particularly strong or capable UU, but I would say the Romans because they are more of a challenge, both strategically and tactically, but only if they have their Legions. Otherwise a fight with them would be just as difficult/easy as the Zulu.


Are you for a Northern landgrab (Blackheart), Eastern landgrab (what I propose), Southern landgrab (The Babylon haters), maritime expansion or peaceful coexistance?

I would say more for the rich lands of the east, being the silks and the Iron near Rome. But a Northern landgrab wouldn't be that bad either, but I would like to split the trading abilities of the northern countries from the souther countries. Peaceful coexistance is my very last resort when we have capable means of disposing of our foes.

Personally, as a new DG player, I am not relying on informal writing blocs or previous background alone, but firmly believe in the merit of accomplishment.
This means, I rely on my technical writing skills as well as polling skills, and has actually developed, refined and codifed many of Japanaticas core developments. From the outset, I have been a strong proponent for pursuing iron working and monarchy, which has enabled us to gear our country spatially for seizing iron locations ahead of time from potential antagonists and to adopt a governmental type that enables us to fight several conflicts without suffering to outright economic waste of despotism or the danger of war weariness and lack of military police and troop support of Republic.
I am also for a line maximizing the unique features of Japanatica, training horsemen on barbarians where possible and later convert these to elite samurai, build barracks and temples on borders to sustain cultural integrity and military superiority and strategically apply revolutions in order to capsize antagonist and unprepared nations in swift and effective campaigns.

I consider the people of Japanatica as my bigest resource, and will consult you ahead of all major decisions, this means I will poll my military plans and sub-poll plan variations and modalities. As a military minister, I will develop my preliminary instructions for all to see and comment ahead of time, and adopt them to the will of the people. Yet, I will not let mob rule overrule a functional plan, and will cautiously evade fringe factions to hijack Japanaticas main agenda in small legal and constituitional scoops. This means that I will make the war a public project as possible. In extension with that, I will synchronize and exhange view with all branches of government, judiciary and governors, and will not fail any entity on operational and political expectations codifed in my polled supported proposed plans.

I will manage to handle a conflict with Rome, and if we work effectively, also handle the Zulus by the end of term 2, probably 3/4 into Term 2.
In the meantime, I will submit continuous projections on the military balance and our relative capability to destroy our enemys strength and control of battlespace, which means focussed strength on dedicated areas.
I suggest stable relations with Babylonians and Iroquois all the way term 2.

I am clearly for the Eastern landgrab in term 2, which does not mean we need to work around the Zulus, but here the method would be a coastal system of cities in the northwest, which gives us a geographical reach from which we can project force on the entire of our continent. I would say, Project Force East, patch up our southern border and extend influence north, jointly with coastal cities we can supply from sea with troops for a sudden shift of force balance they do not expect in the longer term.

Finally, I would like to say that I will work well with Civanator under all circumstances either as minister or as deputy, yet, in the position as minster, I can handle more the doctrinal issues in the grander scale and assure continuity, where I will nominate Civanator to be the Chief of Staff to develop some of the future battle plans putting the Samurai in the field.

I consider the future war ministry as a team, and yes, we will create positions
for eager citizens that believe they have the talent to serve our nation
