MOTH

Vote Ginger_Ale. Why? As interim governor, thanks to the help of MOTH, I've learned what (it mostly takes) to be governor - on the other hand, deputy would float my boat. Anyhow, I'll do the best I can to take this province, improve the land surrounding it, and protect its cities from barbarians (otherwise known as Babylon and Rome).

Vote for Ginger_Ale! The lurker who knows every inch of the game!

Wow, I come back from a short vacation and I'm losing 6 to 2! :(

I will make three campaign promises at this time.

1. I am a firm believer in term limits. If I am elected for term 3 I will not run for Term 4 for this position.
2. I will run this province in manner that allows the people a chance to review and object. As Interim Governor I have made sure that tentative instructions have been posted before being posted in the TCIT. I have also made sure that the intructions have been posted early in the TCIT. This allows the citizen's as much of an opportunity to comment as possible.
3. I will not run a popularity contest. I will always state my mind and demand that the WOTP be determined in a timely manner, even when this means that some people might take it personally.

This reminds me of when Strider beat me in Science. Helped him get started and he ends up taking my spot.
and out comes black_hole working up his way to take striders spot ;)

For what it's worth, I throw my support behind MOTH. Of all the governors last term, MOTH was second only to Zarn in dedication to his province. If you want a governor who cares about the people, vote MOTH.

WOW! After the fine effort MOTH made in the last Term with his vision and planning, and he's losing to GA? Man, this is an unfair game.

Wow! Locked in a deadheat! 9-9!

I have to support MOTH here. He surprised with with some creative ideas, he has done great work!

Will the two candidates give more info about what they have planned for this term. I need nore info.
Regards a concerned citizen and soon to be Deputy of Trade.

I see the position of Governor as a steward. The governor needs to protect and nuture the citizens and towns of Hairando fro the good of the people of Japanatica.

My immediate goals in this regard is to protect our citizens and then to provide offensive capability for the Military Ministry for execution of the war effort.

As soon as we have established peaceful relations or relative security in the area of Regent Town I intend to take advantage of the cattle by bringing fresh water to the town so that it may grow into a large city (ie: build an aquaduct).

This race is so close... Maybe some subliminal advertising will help

In my first post in my thread, I posted this:

As interim governor, thanks to the help of MOTH, I've learned what (it mostly takes) to be governor - on the other hand, deputy would float my boat. Anyhow, I'll do the best I can to take this province, improve the land surrounding it, and protect its cities from barbarians (otherwise known as Babylon and Rome).

But I'll be happy to give more detail - my main goal for this term is protection. If we can protect our cities from attacks, then we don't have to worry about flooding our build queues with military units - we can use production to build marketplaces and barracks, aqueducts and temples. In the first few (or two) turnchats, I will focus on the defense of our cities. Later on, once they are secure, I look forward to improving them both population-wise and production-wise. This province is also very hilly and mountainous, which will require worker power, in which I hope to work together with the DP to help improve our terrain.

Hope you have a fun time voting. ;) 10 to 11...fun.

:wow: And now its 11 to 12. I hope this is as much as a nail-biter for those voting in the election as for those of us running. :)
