I urge you to discuss worker actions with the President. For example, there are 2 workers making improvements 2 tiles west of Bootia. This tile will NEVER be used by any city!! Not to mention the landscape of mines.

As President I would like to see the Quirnial Provance place in efforts to start building military units. We are preparing for war against the Egyptians and I would like to see this provance start to build Military units for the War effort.

Military production? that will be fine. The way it will go is:
Top third - Military
Middle Third - Courthouses, then military
lower third - workers.
Top third - Military
Middle Third - Courthouses, then military

The way I am going and the way the governors are being treated isn't working. So how about I try something different. Post an improvement/unit here that you want put it the queues, and I will put it in. The problem with submitting entire Queues is that sometimes the domestic offices have certain plans going, like battle supplies or a size 12 plan.
So, would you like it better if you posted what you think is the highest priority thing you want built in the city, and it will be put at the top of the queues for your city? that way at least one thing you want will get done every turn chat. I just dont want frustrated Governors, like they are now. This should be fun!

While I was being a bit sarcastic, don't feel terrible
While you did start this term by saying that the mayors would control the queues, you are the governor and it is ultimately up to you. However, I would like to see that if you would like changes to our queue, that you would just discuss it with us and allow us to change the queue ourselves. Just a bit of role playing so we can feel important
If you dismiss us out of hand, there is not much for us to do as mayors 
Visit my city thread and lets discuss the queue.....

Is it part of a major plan? What effect will it have on this plan?

Reg - it isn't taken, you are lucky I just saw this. I was just redoing the Quirnial map for the website that has all of the mayors on it. Your name and avatar will appear on the map as long as GBM approves your appointment.
