Will the terrain in Civ4 be effected by war and other happenings? Such as scorched earth from Civ conquests. What do u think they could do to improve this because i generally did not like the way they showed it in C3C.

I miss the terraforming from Civ 2. Also, what's wrong with damaged tiles like from bombardment?

Damaged tiles should still happen. much more realistic. IMHO

If a bomb was dropped on a bridge today, you wouldn't be pouring concrete tomorrow for the new one. it would take months to remove debris and reset conditions to begin new construction. Hell just look at the WTC. it was what almost a year before the site was cleared.

In the later ages, we should be able to do some light terraforming (turning desert to grassland, raising elevation, etc.). And I liked the bombarded terrain in C3C.
