Textures/icons disappear

I have run into an annoying bug that messes with the icons of units, sometimes the flags at the units or even landimprovement graphics. I took 2 screenshots of one of the problems.

They show how my riflemans's icon disappear and is left only with the arrow directing at its position (top-right corner).

The game itself is running rather fast with no particular slowdown;

• Core2 6600 2.4

• 4 GB RAM

• GF 7900 GS 256 MB

• Raid HD

A few turns after the above pics, I had the problem with some windmills (The black spots on the map).

So far that fixed the problem. But the Nvidia driver also makes use of more memory. I have 256 mb on the gfx-card, and vista assigned another 256 mb before - now it assigns 768 mb to a total of 1 gb
