The Breaking Storm, 1919-1945

Update: Major updates for France and Spain in an attempt to keep the navies relevant further into WWII although Spain has had this done using a lot of What-If ships. Netherlands gets two gaps filled thanks to the fantastic models produced by @Luminarycrush. Germany gets another What-If heavy cruiser again to keep it going. The Danes get a ship to represent them for this time period. Also big thanks to Ares for his continued sound support.

Update: Just a u-boat for the German Navy been a busy time the last two weeks as I adjust to a new job so needed something that takes awhile to render while I spent time with dealing the household stuff. New unit pack is coming online all that is left is is about 10ish units and then another big upload.

This u-boat looks very advanced. I wonder if one could enlarge the model, cover the model in rubber coating, add VLS. And get a modern generic diesel submarine.

I was looking into updating the C3C WWII in the Pacific scenario with your updated units. I've only looked into the the US and IJN surface ships so far, but there's no Lexington-class, Yorktown-class, or Essex-class carrier model in your "The Breaking Storm" collection. Are there any plans to update the existing versions?

Hey Kangaroo262,

Yes I am planning to replace them not entirely sure when. At the moment there is a massive naval update I might try to do later this year but I am waiting for a few items to drop before I proceed. In the meantime Wyrmshadows carriers might be old but they will serve you well.

Cheers,
Delta

Thank you very much for the Saphir Class submarine. :thanx: I especially like how your newer submarines first fire torpedoes and than dive up to fire their board cannon. :)

Node60, incredible what you have found there: A side-wheel trainings carrier. Here we can read more about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Wolverine_(IX-64)

So very interesting, I don´t think that such a "trainings-carrier" will become a part in my mods and scenarios, as it is too exotic.

Just remember guys the more exotic the less likely I can get a model of them. hahaha I struggle to get naval stuff for anyone outside the usual suspects. (Germany, Britain, USA, and Japan)

I prefer non-exotic units like the nice Saphir Class submarine much, much more. :)

Delta Strife, do you have a plan to make the carrier Unryū, Kaiyo, and Shinyo? :DTo supplement your IJN works.

Cool landing craft! Thanks for posting! I especially love the tanks on the LCT.
