I love True Start Locations map. I finished great games on several of them.
For some reason I would love to reconstruct the France in its national borders on the European map.
A year ago I was trying to achieve that with gods and kings, my renaissance France was beautiful, saves got deleted
After BNW I tried once again, on bigger European map. My computer no longer had problems with HDD, my France was in the late renaissance, everything was awesome, and then I have realized that for some reason cultural overview is broken (some conflict with mods) and generally speaking I can forget about cultural victory.
Remember, this was France and I already had Aestethics, cultural wonders and cultural guilds. It was so depressing that I abandoned this game.
Third attempt. I checked in the very beginning, cultural screen works, everything works. Beautiful. I play as France, everything is awesome aaand it's gone - turn 141 always causes this particular game to crash.
Have you got some strange 'curses' (problems) with very particular civilisations?
