Jute is spotted by a strange explorer who describes himself as a Scout from a land to the North. They discuss the possibility of trading knowledge. Jute then heads of to the fishing village where he witnesses the burial of the Chief. Jute pays his respects to the tribe who introduce themselves as the Bantu and teach Jute their custom of Ceremonial Burial.

A second encampment of Harappan warriors are disturbed near to the Ottoman's homeland.

Ivan is awarded the highest honour of the Russian nation, "Hero of the Nation", posthumously.
