I have made a new version of the European Union map. No, it is not with the new countries, but it has an interesting twist. I call this map "Deep Freeze" as the entire terrain is tundra, forest, and snow-capped mountains. All the resources are still in the same spot, and appear on the tundra.

my question is simpy, Why? tundra is absolutely horrible!

It is very simply:
a)I was bored
b)It adds a greater challenge to the game. Think about it. Bonus Resources like cattle and game become much more important. And there is alot of cattle.

I am pro EU. But the other swiss citizens don't think so and they are the majority.

Well, being a lake isn't that bad. It's the Lake Geneva/Lake Constance/Lake Zürich/Lake Lucerne/Lake Lugano combination lake. Some snowy mountains rising in the middle of the lake would make the picture perfect. Well, I'll edit them in.

I'm obviously spending to much time before my computer; I hadn't noticed that ice age!
Now, if someone's made some glacier graphics, you could put Scandinavia under a kilometer or two of solid ice ...

whe you make the new eu-map with our new 10 members, don't forget, that this map has to be finished until mai, 1st 2004 
but don't forget, that only the south of cyprus will join the eu. the northern part is occupied by the turks and won't join the union if cyprus isn't reunioned until mai,1st

Cool map, but i hope Norway is joining the EU soon, Im pretty cold swimming around in the water in the middle of the winter.

norway will join the eu when the norwegian oil-ressource is down and fishing in the sea is impossible, cause all fishes are dead.
they won't join before this, because norway is a rich country(would have to give much money for the eu) and norway doesn't want to accept the fishing-limt of the eu(like iceland).
btw: i hope, that norway will join the eu, i like this country, very beautyful. well, i hope, that someday every european country will be a member of the eu. but these countries have to do a lot of work
