Elections are Over!
The Fanatican elections are over. None of the races were all that hotly contested, by here are the results anyway.
In a landslide victory, former Foreign Affairs advisor Jayne won the presidental election. Octavian X is the vice president, lost to Jayne in the previous term in the FA eletion. Rumor has it he's plotting something involving doughnuts, nutmeg, and some hydrochloric acid.
Domestic Advisor elections saw GaryNemo, the settler from none, re-elected to his second term at the post. duke o' york came in second place, despite what his brilliant campaign slogan, Vote GaryNemo.

The Empire is Overthrown!
Yes, that's right. The oppressive Empire of Fanatica was overthrown, of a new type of government, a monarchy. After a brief period of anarchy, the Kingdom of Fanatica was official formed, with Jayne it's Queen.
Several reasons have the given as to the reason of the revoulution, but the prevailing opinion is that the empire was a lack of doughnuts. A rioter was quoted as saying, "We know they have doughnuts in that palace! We want them!"
As the rioting ended throughout the empire, the secert doughnut stores of the empire were opened, and people joyous all took some for themselves.
We Love the Queen Day celebrated
The citizens of Regia Civitas have spontaneouly thrown a celebration in honor of Queen Jayne. The feeling around the city is one of overwhelming happiness. As a result, they are working harder than every before for the kingdom.
Reasons for the celebrations range. According to some, it was an increase doughnut ration. Others are estatic about the recent appearence on the once thought dead Elvis in a local music venue. Most, however, contribute it to Queen Jayne's avatar. It seems to have caused great joy among the men of the city, but a few grumblings from the married female citizens.
