Here you go, other than the big three, who is the next in line?
IMO, it's the bowman. Bad upgrade path and he has to compete with guys like Immortals, Hoplites etc. But I'm sure a lot of people don't like the others either.

I'd say it's Bowman because you don't need those archers when you can build swordsmen;)

The bottom 3 are

The F-15, Man o War and the Korean one (it's so bad I cant even remember it's name).

I voted conquistador, my playstyle doesn't support using this unit that is both obsolete in attack/defense by the time it comes around. Meant for exploration, everything is explored by that time to.

Korean one is H'wacha

I voted Cossack, it not enough of an improvement over the cavalry to make it worth it

I'm fascinated to see Panzer on the list. Sure, it's a bit late to be much of a game-winner, but it's no doubt a very good unit.

Of the rest, several isn't much of an improvement on the corresponding reg'lar unit, but give a nicely-timed GA. I think shame of place goes to the Bowman, being in itself pretty forgettable and tending to land you with a Despotic GA.

Me too. The Panzer has Blitz ability plus 3 movements, which seems to triple to number of Panzers you have. I've had plenty of games in which having a Panzer Blitz proved to be the decisive factor. Besides, if you can manage to wait for a late industrial Golden Age, that Golden Age is truly awesome. Your production goes through the roof, and you can create a swarm of Panzers every other turn.

I picked Cossack, but it was a tough choice. Conquistador seems pretty useless as well, and the Musketeer suffers from the same problem as the Cossack: Bonus is on the wrong stat. If I were to fix the Cossack, then I'd just give it the base Cavalry values, but give the Cossack blitz ability.

I've always had really good luck with the Panzer, of course you have to stay equal or ahead of the other civs in science and being that Germany is also scientific it helps, Panzers can't do much harm against MI but I've been able to wipe out whole countries with riflemen and infantry in just a couple of turns with panzer's, another thing is if an elite panzer wins three attacks in a row you are almost gaurantee'd a GL every time.

Definatly the bowman for the fact that it gives you a GA at the absolute worst time to get one.

Hey, where's the dreaded War Chariot??

I voted Bowman. It essentialy only consolidates your army from archers and spearmen to Bowmen. Pretty useless if you ask me.

Bowman.

And the list should have the War Chariot instead of the Panzer.

I cannot understand how anyone could not like the War Chariot. It's a frikken Horseman at -33% cost!

It's only weakness is an early GA, but in that respects it's not worse than the Immortal, widely considered to be among the very best UUs. I'd choose the War Chariot over most ancient UUs (exceptions: Immortal, Mounted Warrior, Hoplite).

Another weakness for the War Chariot is the point that it can't cross Jungle or mountain squares without road. But it is anyway a very powerful UU in the ancient age.

I voted for the Musketeer, because It's no good. Increased attack value, whats that use for? Musketman has stats of 2/4/1, and Musketeer is 3/4/1.

people like the war chariot? I think it is useless, by the time you get into a war, the chariot is out dated by spearmen, and swordsmen, the only think the chariot has got going for it, is the fact its fast

Musketeer, no doubt about it. Who attacks with Musketmen? Oh. Right. The French.

This case is heavy. Where shall I rest it? Oh. Gotcha.

Here.

Later!

The War Chariot's REAL advantage is its cost. They are basically cheaper, wheeled Horsemen. If one can take advantage of this, one can create a HORDE of them overwhelm the enemy. There's something to be said about superior numbers, and I figured the Aztec Jaguar Warrior would have proven that...
