i take that when you say mech you mean robots (huge robots), they won't be build just as pembroke says, they made bigger targets and they are unstable, just hit the robot in under the neck were the pilot is
As I said before I don't want ancient island cities that can't even stay afloat! I want high tech futureistic cites that are under water by choice. That are dry too.
i you ask me. i say i don't see futuristic cities underwater but i do see cities like sky citi in the future, in sky city is like a skyscrater with parks, movie theaters, supermarkets, schools etc. basicaly a whole city put together in a skyscrater.
this other guy whos name i forgot said this before but i'll say it again. i think canals should be able to be built. they'd take about half as long as it takes to clear jungles, and every ship can go through them. ships should also be able to go through rivers, but at a movement rate of 2.
________ Honda Mh02 History
Rivers should count as linking sities for resources and luxuries. If cities are located on same river or conecting rivers they should be linked without needing roads joining. Not future stuff, I know but it bugs me that in the early ages they don't get connected.
it doesn't matter if underwater cities are cooler or not ( which i think sky city is way cooler) it is about giving the game a future age and at the same time keep it realistic
Scrap the idea about mechwarrior like mechs and think about japanese anime mechas, totally different thing than the slow tin cans. And the cockpit doesn't have to be in the head, just stick it in the center torso under 2 meters of armor and there you have it. About clumsyness: just have the pilot's neural system connected in the machine and he'll move it like it was his own body. About slowness: equip it with jump jets and fly at mach 2 in space and at good speed in atmosphere too. Also they are so cool that it doesn't matter if they are realistic or not
lol! underwater cities- you are joking? I've got an imagination to rival the best of them but to me that would make the game extremely unrealistic and i personally wouldn't play a scenario with underwater cities.
