The GREATEST Wall

I put this one in a previous GWall thread. 94 tiles enclosed by my count. If I had completed it 2 turns later, Ning-Hsia's borders woulda popped to put the count over 100. I also lost some tiles to the ocean.

In this case I used my Agg trait to add a couple of cities to the empire before the Wall was built. I think this was Prince difficulty... axe rushed Qin, got a couple of lucky battles, and most important, eliminated my most likely rival to build the GWall :p I also like the historical irony...

Well they did conquer China, despite the Wall :p

Most. Useless. Wall. Evar.

Although it would look kinda cool to build a couple of forts in there when you get the chance :)

I don't have a picture, and it wasn't especially large. However, it was extremely useful. My civilization started near the tundra, so of course I'm going to be a little afraid of barbarians. I end up having to spread my cities out a bit more than I like, but I complete the wall rather quickly. There's a number of neighbors below me. A little while after the wall goes up, tons of barbarians start spawning in the tundra and they're funneled between my cities (borders weren't connected), and they have no choice but to swarm into my neighbor's civilization. Amazingly, this continued for about 30 turns. The AI below me was nearly ruined completely by the barbarians.
