Works fine!

But I just got (for the first time I think) sounds with it. Is that a one time thingy? Or will it repeat?

I don't like it ;) .

Surfing at work, eh?

I like the internet policy at my office. I get to do whatever I want on the internet, and no one else gets to do anything. Its good to be King :king:

Oh yah it's fuggin swell. Here I am hitting the back button to go back out to the main threads index and the screen flashes black and then keeps me in Site Feedback.

I'm not suffering of it, as I use Netscape. :p

You should try it too! It's much better than Internet Explorer...

If you do have a stored cookie (such as is required for automatic logon) or perhaps if you access it from a different IP address, it would not be know if you had already been served your portion.

I do have an automatic log on... It's not that I care that much though.

Caught...

It's not as bad as the electrical superstorms though...

I hated that...

I surf at school all the time. What you got to do is practice for hours using the alt-tab and alt F4 combo's. Saves you plenty of dententions! And of course, you have to have a good aliby for using the internet ;)

(I need to look up some information on Napoleon and Corsica)

:p

Don't forget WindowKey-D, to display the desktop. It's pretty quick, too.

Surely it doesn't stop sounds from playing though... Unless I am missing something.

The Core and the Hunted :vomits:

Someone said they got in trouble because 'The Hunted' ad turned on as the boss passed by.

Guess I'm just lucky. . . I have volume controls on both my keyboard and speakers. And I'm constantly playing with the volume, because of music or whatever. . . but you're right, it doesn't mute the sounds.

About the sound:

In your Internet browser (assuming you have the latest version of IE, and probably other versions/browers have this too), go to "Tools," then "Internet Options...," then the "Advanced" tab, then go to the multimedia section, and uncheck "Play sounds from web pages."

That way, no sound is ever played from the web, and you can surf the net at work or school worry-free. You can also toggle off video and animations in the same section. I've never tried any of this myself, though; it might not work with this ad.
