Final Fantasy XII is a very unique and great entry in the final fantasy series.
It takes place in the world of Ivalice which is from final fantasy tactics and its counterpart final fantasy Tactics advance.
Format: Single Player Only.
Battle System: Final Fantasy XII plays alot like final fantasy XI if you have ever played that. Its Real time battles. Meaning you run around in the real world and when you engage an enemy you input a command, wether its to attack, cast a spell, or use a tecknique.
The attack is carried out then you automatically attack again (Every action takes about 4-5 seconds theres a time bar inbeetween attacks).
More to be added later i gotta get back to playing.

Not that long. There was about 10-15 people there though.
And i have to say this game is FANTASTIC.

Well I was going to ask everyone what their thoughts on this game was, but now I'm just going to get it and find out for myself. Looks like I won't be disappointed from what the reviews and fans are saying.

I would love to play this game, but seeing as it isn't coming out on PC Looks like I'll have to pass. No sense in forking out 250$ for one game and a PS2. Damn you Square enix. Damn you.

WARNING: FOR PLAYERS OF FFXII WHO WANT THE BEST WEAPON IN THE GAME READ THIS!!
It says in the strategy guide DONT open up the chest near the guy you have to talk to in the undertown. I forgot his name but if you open that chest you cant get the best weapon late in the game. So dont open any chests in the south sprawl of the undertown just to be sure.
And theres a couple more chests later in the game you cant open if you want your ultimate weapon. Look them up or be prepared for grief.
I had to restart because i opened the chest without reading the strategy guide.

Doesn't reading the strategy guide the first time through a game kind of ruin it? It's like knowing what a gift is before opening it.

Yes but without the guide you never would not have known it existed, thereby elimniating any stress you might have experienced. I'm sure you can win without the Ulimate weapon anyways.

Dont get me wrong. I did not even look at the strategy guide once until recently and when i looked i figured out that i screwed up my chances of getting that weapon. So therefore i dont want to screw anything else up by accident.
Good strategy guides dont reveal the storyline anyway.

So I got it yesterday and played for about 4 hours. I'm not very happy with the game so far. It is gorgeous and I like the battle system but cut scenes are to much for my liking. Granted I haven't played it a whole lot I just hope it picks up the pace some. Anyone else play it yet? What do you think about it?
