I agree wholeheartedly with archery and feel fine with mysticism.
I do think the third tech should be iron working though.

I think he meant Pottery with cottages.

I also agree on Iron Working, Blastoid, since that will impact our Spanish War.

If I may, go for IW if you must, but I typically trade for that in my rush for Construction, especially when you already have copper near by.
