Free Tech Bug

I keep getting techs I already researched as my bonus techs.

I built Oxford University on the same turn I completed Electricity and Suzerained my first CS. Oxford gave me Urbanization and Electricity. The CS gave me Electricity.

Then my second CS Suz gave me Urbanization.

In the mean time I researched Industrialization. Then my 3rd CS Suz gave me Industrialization.

Seems to be a bug involving free tech wethwr they come from Oxford or the CS.

Is it giving you the mastery of each?

It could be but I'm pretty sure I research those Masteries for the +1 to quarries, mines, farms ect. I can't say for sure so I'll have to test it some more.

Free techs do tend to be masteries, in my experience. Probably because the game gives you the earliest or cheapest techs available, which tend to be masteries you skipped. Makes the bonus kinda bad unless you're going for masteries such as for codices.
