Jabie
Wanted in Monte Carlo...
Despite the problems that have been outlined elsewhere in this thread, I admire the fact that Firaxis tried to add value to their product by including a new MesoAmerican mod. this action should be applauded and encouraged.
Looking through the changes in the new patch, it seems that Firaxis were happy to take on board the updates made by other users on this site for Final Frontier and Next War. So essentially we have a case of if you build it, he will come.
With this in mind, what chance do you think do we have of getting updated versions of either the basic mods with Vanilla (Tutorial, Greek World, American Revolution and Desert War) Two of these have been somewhat superceded (Greek World by Peloppenisian Wars and Desert War by road to War) but the other are still up for grabs. Tutorial almost works, but freezes when asked for a left click early on and American Revolution consistently gets XML errors.
Note that as the base product is required for BtS this wouldn't cause any loss of sales for Firaxis, as might occur with the Warlords scenarios.
