being a lurker at this forum since C-IV released I have seen a number of different complaints about the game roll by.

Some of the recurrent complaints I recognized myself - being somewhat of a warlord level gamer in the game - boils down to the the "windows looks".

for example:

When faced a foreign civ demanding you to stop trade with Civ X, how does one check the current relations or trade with that Civ X?

There are more examples boiling down to the same principle..

My opinion it's the "windows look".Iit looks like you can minimize it and roam about to get back to it when you are good and ready for it.
But that does not always seem to be the case.

I would for one rather like the idea to be able to minimize windows in a turn, let them pop back up before being able to end the turn and press "O.K".

The thing is, I want to make my disisions at my own pace, and if that means me browsing all my city's units, and "scouting" the opponents territoty I can see. I want to be able to do that!

So in short, why make them look like "windows" when they do nothing of the sort?

- Al said, it is still a fine game. Which I enjoy alot. :king: -

Heh, in the diplomacy context this seems like the AI gets an unfair negotiating tactic advantage, doesn't it? In Civ3 when the AI came to you it was in the middle of THEIR turn, and you had to make a decision on the spot or lose the offer. Sometimes they'd give you a sweeter deal then than if you went to them directly, but when tech was involved I'd always say no because then they'd be able to whore the tech around before I could. Anyway, the point is, for diplomacy this at least isn't worse than Civ3, which isn't an argument for why it's good!
