Edit: Ok, I had the combat strength backwards, so it was my 110 strength apostle vs their 148. But it still seems odd that my units are dying. I've never seen a full-health military unit die in 1 combat, and I swear I've seen 3:2 strength ratio conventional combat.
I'm playing Gorgo, and I don't have any policies/wonders/etc. that modify theological combat strength (as far as I can tell.) My opponent is Lautaro, and he is much more successful in theological combat than I think he should be. There were a few cases which seemed unfair, but the last turn was just absurd. His apostle (strength of 110 as displayed in the game) attacked my guru (both units starting at full health), did 100 damage and only took 13. On my turn, I attacked with a 148 strength, full health apostle, which died, only doing 8 damage. This seems like an obvious bug, but I wanted to double check that there isn't some policy, wonder, or other hidden modifier that I'm not aware of that could explain these outcomes.
