Theory of evolution

What happens if some of your more backwards citizens decide that they don't believe in TOE any longer? Is there a "Creationism" wonder that will allow you to learn two other non-existant technologies?

Stay tuned, my state government will be figuring this one out.

don't feel so guilty about bombarding the cathedrals and temples... you can't get them anyway.

Naw. I never feel guilty when I bomb churches and orphanages and other useless stuff.

Flat earth theory, makes all ships fall off edge of earth.
Ether theory of electromagnetism, makes all electronic devices stop working.

 Good idea.

Both science and religion can have blind spots. Some people believe that the theory of evolution is real, but it is not a completely satisfactory explanation for human beings. Maybe something extraordinary happened that neither scientists nor religious leaders really understand.

I wish that the CIV series would take a bold step that would try to imagine what these "future techs" might be. We could kind of merge CIV2 or CIV3 with some aspects of SMAC, with an emphasis on unexplored biological and genetic possibilities...

Terracentric universe. All stars and galaxies revolve around our beloved planet. Ultimate Black Hole appears and sucks everything in. Game over.
