Things you think will be patched

I'll make two lists, things I think will be changed and things I want to be changed:

Think will be changed:
Alexander's Unique Units and their power
The underwhelmingness of some of the leaders
The ability of computer players to defend their capitol
"Ignore happiness" strategies

Things I want changed:
The city UI. It's too cluttered and I can't see the tile yields easily. I want Civ 4's really clean UI back for that. The whole circle with a face in it is too visually busy.

To change production when I have "show queue" up.

The cheesiness of winning when taking a capitol of a continent-wide empire

Things I want patched....
- Satellite tech should reveal the map (I shouldnt have to use a mod or tweak to do this)
- Wonders should be more powerful
- AI should be smarter and receive less bonuses on higher levels

Things I think will get patched
- crash fixes

What I think will get changed: crash fixes, alex nerf

What I want changed: The ability to manage a football team

QFT. Such two huge factors needs to be repeated!

- For us who like to see the gains from each field its annoying that it dominates the screen to much. You need to focus to actually see what squares you got workers/warriors on it when you got yield on.

- The city building queue system is not terrible, but its bad. It need to be reconfigured to work like it did in civ4 to be more effective.

First patch?

Think will be changed
They'll fix a bunch of bugs/crashes for sure.
A nerf on city states.
A buff to resource yields.
Probably a few production cost reductions.
They'll probably buff some of the more pointless buildings.
Some AI tweaks, but not holding my breath.
Some UI tweaks.

Rebalancing of city state benefits - In particular maritime food bonuses.

AI diplomacy behaviour - I don't think the pacts of secrecy/co-operation are having as big an influence as they should. AI personalities seem to turn hostile far too easily at the moment. Since personalities are still in as far as I'm aware, I can only imagine this is due to an imbalance in the reputation modifiers we can't see.

General gold expense and happiness mechanics - Balance tweaking, perhaps with particular attention to map size and happiness penalties.

UI improvements - Things like the military overview and the diplomacy and budget panels.

Replays - Although it might take a while. Perhaps it will only be added with an expansion?

Production in comparison to research speeds - I'd expect the balance to change in one way or another. Likely slightly faster production (via costs or yields) coupled with a nerf to research rates.

Minor feature regressions - Auto unit cycling on/off toggle, worker automation options etc.

And of course just general balance changes I haven't already covered and bug fixes. Performance increases too, whether it comes from improved nvidia/ati drivers, or purely from firaxis, or a combination of the two.

Note: this list is given with the mid to long term in mind. I don't think anything I've said is much different from the typical tweaking and polishing most 4x games of it's type receive.
