Thinking of getting the v1.21 patch. Got a question

I'm playing a on a large map right now, and, according to the changes to the game, large and huge map sizes were decreaed. Will it mess up my game if I download the patch, then load the game with a large map? Or will large and huge mpas just be smaller for subsequent games?

Eh, I'll just chance it. nIf it messes up my perfect game, it does. If it doesn't, then cool.

If you currently have the despised patch 1.17 you'd be better off replacing it with 1.21 - even though 1.21 takes away the wonderful "multi.sav" cheat.

Anything is better than 1.17.

The maps look alright (by Civ 3 standards) with 1.21.
